Early morning, you will start your drive to the western part of Uganda to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a stop in Mbarara City for your lunch. You will then continue with your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Game drives in this park, with the massive Rwenzoris as a backdrop provide excellent opportunities to see lions, leopards, giant forest hogs, buffaloes, elephants, defassa waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Topi and Bushbuck. Overnight and meals at your accommodation. Driving time is 5 hours.
Start very early in the morning with a game drive in the park, passing via the crater lakes region with over 30 crater lakes to be explored, it’s such a nice scenery to view in the morning with many different species of animals in the savanna. Return to the lodge for your breakfast and then relax. After lunch, embark on the boat launch along the Kazinga Channel which connects two Lakes Edward and George where you will see several bird species and lots of hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
After your breakfast, you will drive out of Queen Elizabeth National Park heading to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park via Ishasha in search of tree climbing Lions. Your driver guide will show you through as you will be heading to Bwindi. In case you are lucky, you may come across the tree-climbing lions which will be up in the fig trees found here. The Lions spend most of the day sleeping. Ishasha is the best place in East Africa for tree-climbing lions and people come from far and wide to see them. You will then head to Bwindi to your accommodation and dinner. Driving time is 4 hours.
After enjoying an early breakfast and a short briefing at the park headquarters with your small group, your ranger will lead you through the tropical rainforest in search of your gorilla family. Trekking through the steep, densely forested hills and then finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation is an inspiring and privileged moment. Trekking in the Bwindi forest requires stamina and can often take most of the day. Join them for an hour, observing their behaviour in their natural habitat.

After breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest National Park have a stopover in Fort portal for lunch en-route then arrive in the early afternoon. Check into your accommodation. You may take a walk in the Bigodi Wetland in search of the Shoebill Stork, the Papyrus Gonolek, White-winged Warbler and many more not forgetting the various flora. (Optional activity) Driving time is 4 hours.
This park has recorded the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in the Great lakes region. Depart Kampala at 7.30am and head to Murchison Falls National Park in the northern part of Uganda; it will take 4 hours from Kampala to Masindi where you will have your first stop for lunch and then continue onto your journey to Murchison Falls National Park.
Early morning embark on a four hours game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, with a game ranger on board. Wildlife in this park includes the Giraffe, Oribis, Bushbucks, Elephant, Jackson hartebeest, lions, waterbucks and a variety of savannah woodland birds. In the afternoon you will go on a River Nile boat cruise for game viewing and bird watching at close range; this is a paradise for hippos and crocodiles as well. You will have an opportunity to get close to the Spectacular Murchison Falls.
After your breakfast, head out for the top of the Murchison falls on your way out of the park. You will drive to Kampala, lunch enroute (Masindi) and arrive Kampala early afternoon. It will take you about 1 hour from your lodge to the Top of the falls. Driving time is 5 hours.
Pick up from Kampala in the morning and then head to Griffins Camp in Mabira Forest. Have a briefing and then head for the starting point of the Ziplining. The activity will take you approximately 4 hours. OR undertake the half day water rafting activity on the rapids of the River Nile. This is an adrenaline raising activity but very thrilling to experience the rapids. Thereafter visit the Source of the Nile and drive back to Kampala. Driving time is 3 hours.
Pick up from your hotel and take a tour of Kampala City. Visit some of the places that tell the history of Kampala and these include the Uganda Museum, Kabaka’s Lake, Kabaka’s Palace in Mengo, President Amin’s torture chambers, Lubaga Cathedral, Parliament of Uganda, Gaddafi Mosque, crafts Village and depending if it’s a weekend, crown the evening with a visit to the Ndere Cultural Centre for a Ugandan cuisine and performances of the Ugandan Cultural dances and songs.
