Aberdares National Park:

The Aberdares are part of Kenya's central highlands, running roughly north south between Nairobi and Thomsons Falls with a range of almost 13,000 ft. The topography is diverse with deep ravines that give way to gentler valleys separated by steep hills and rocky outcrops. The park is an important water catchment area providing water to the Tana and Athi rivers and part of Central Rift and Northern drainage basins. The climate is wet and moist. The park is surrounded by a predominantly indigenous forest, whose management is under an MoU between KWS and the Forest Department. Animal life is most abundant in the forest zone. Maasai Mara Daily Departure Package

Day 1: Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Pick up Nairobi at 07:00am, Drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve via the scenically beautiful Great Rift Valley and Narok. This enormous reserve is part of the vast Serengeti Plains, famous for its spectacular wildebeests’ migration and is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. You will arrive in time for lunch at your camp and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. You will drive through the reserve as you enjoy the Savannah with vast herds of wildebeests and zebras wandering across the grasslands. You will also have a chance to see other plain game like the Maasai Giraffe, Eland, Buffalo, Topi, and both Thomson’s and grants Gazelles. Day 2: Maasai Mara Game Reserve:

After Breakfast, depart the camp for a Fullday game drive, the day will be spent in the reserve driving across the plains in search for the great predators and perhaps even their cubs. On the plains you will come across enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopards hiding amidst acacia boughs. The reserve hosts the highest concentration of wild animals than any other park in the region. You shall transverse the reserve on unlimited game viewing drives in search for the big five and of other games with picnic lunches served at the reserve. Meals & Overnight at Lodge/Camp.


Day 3: Departure/Maasai Mara - Nairobi:

Day 1: Arrival- Nairobi:

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi; after you disembark off the flight and pass through immigration and customs formalities, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel and overnight.

Day 2: Nairobi - Lake Bogoria (230kms Appx 5hrs):

After breakfast,Drive to Lake Bogoria via the scenically beautiful Great Rift Valley. You will have a stop at the Equator line few metres towards the northern side; the water spins clockwise. Towards the southern; spins anticlockwise .Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge/camp .Lake Bogoria is a shallow soda lake with a beautiful scenery and home of lot of flamingos and hot springs.Meals and Overnight at Lodge/Camp.

Day 3:Lake Bogoria – Lake Nakuru/Lake Naivasha (162kms- Appx 3hrs):

After breakfast, Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for a short game drive before proceeding to Lake Naivasha. The park is best known for its flocks of pink flamingoes, sometimes numbering over a million.You will have lunch at Lake Nakuru. In the afternoon, drive to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride. Meals and Overnight at Lodge/Camp.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara Game Reserve ( 250kms-Apprx 5.5hrs):

After breakfast, depart Nairobi by road through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park, which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, huge herds of Elephant and is home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen. You will arrive at your lodge/camp in time for lunch. After lunch, you will have a few hours at leisure before proceeding for an evening game drive which offers you chance to see these proud giants up close and the chance to spot many other species of animals and birds. The park is best known for it’s abundance of elephant, popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park :

Pre breakfast and afternoon game drives (or the choice of a FULL DAY game drive),allow you the chance to enjoy the interaction of wild animals in the magnificent park like settings of Amboseli. You're likely to spot wildebeest, giraffes, Gazelles, Impalas, Zebras and large herds of Elephants. You may also spot lions on the fringes of the marshes as well as a great variety of bird-life. Day 4: Amboseli - Lake Naivasha (360km – Appx 6hrs) :

After breakfast, you will make your way to Lake Naivasha, another of the lakes of Africa's Great Rift Valley. You will drive through the Rift Valley, a spectacular view opens up with the land dropping dramatically from conifer forests to dry and dusty plains way below. Distinctive shapes of extinct volcanoes rise from the floor of the Rift Valley and in the distance is the glint of lake water. Animal life also abounds in this natural oasis, from hippo and buffalo wallowing among the papyrus reeds to giraffes nibbling the acacia, Colobus monkeys leaping from tree to tree and innumerate species of birds adding flashes of colour and exotic calls. Day 2: Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve (320km - Appx 5hrs):

Depart after breakfast and proceed north, driving through lush tea and coffee estates, descending from the Laikipia Plateau to Kenya’s arid north. Proceed to your camp in Samburu National Reserve for check in and lunch. In the afternoon enjoy your first game drive in this reserve which is well known for spectacular scenery and wildlife not found in the south: Reticulated Giraffe, the rare Grevy’s Zebra with its large furry ears, the gerenuk Antelope standing on its hind legs to feed and Somali Ostriches with their distinctive blue legs. Meals and Overnight Lodge/Camp.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve:

Pre breakfast and afternoon game drives (or the choice of a full day game drive).You may see Elephants, Cheetah, Leopard, Eland, Oryx, Impala, Dikdik, Waterbuck and a variety of birds which are abundant with 365 species recorded, one for every day of the year. This lava plain includes a varied landscape of red dirt, thorn scrub, broken volcanic rock, dried riverbeds, steep hills and rocky outcroppings. Following the river’s curves, a forest of Doum Palms, Acacia and tamarind is a magical contrast of cool green. Day 4: Samburu National Reserve - Ol Pejeta Conservancy: (150 Km - Approx 3hrs):

Depart after breakfast and drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy which is famous for not only being the home of the last standing 2 Northern White rhinos in the world, but also for its healthy population of both black and white rhino, all the big cats and the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya. You will arrive in time for lunch and have a few hours at leisure before disembarking for the evening game drive. Meals and Overnight at Lodge/Camp.

Day 5: Ol Pejeta Conservancy - Lake Naivasha (270 Km - Approx 5hrs):

    Day 1: Arrival - Nairobi:

    Day 2: Nairobi - Tsavo East National Park (385km - Approx 7hrs):

    Depart after breakfast and drive along Nairobi-Mombasa road to Tsavo East National Park. The park is popular for the legend of Tsavo “The Man-eaters of Tsavo”. The Yatta plateau, about 290Km long, one of the world’s longest lava flows is found in this park. The Lugards Falls on the Galana river which is a series of rapids is an ideal place to walk down to the river to view the rapids. Other attractions are the Mudanda rock, a long rock outcrop that is about 1.6Km long. You will arrive at your lodge/camp in time for lunch. Few hours at leisure before embarking for an afternoon game in the park which is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.

    Day 3: Tsavo East National Park to Tsavo West National Park:

    Pre-Breakfast game drive before departing Tsavo East for Tsavo West. Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher's Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler. You will have game drive en route arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a visit to Mzima Springs and Rhino Sanctuary.     After breakfast, Drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve via the scenically beautiful Great Rift Valley and Narok. This enormous reserve is part of the vast Serengeti Plains, famous for its spectacular wildebeests’ migration and is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. You will arrive in time for lunch at your camp and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. You will drive through the reserve as you enjoy the Savannah with vast herds of wildebeests and zebras wandering across the grasslands. You will also have a chance to see other plain game like the Maasai Giraffe, Eland, Buffalo, Topi, and both Thomson’s and grants Gazelles.     Day 1: Arrival -Nairobi:

    Day 2: Nairobi - Tsavo East National Park(385kms -Approx 7hrs):

    Depart after breakfast and drive along Nairobi-Mombasa road to Tsavo East National Park. The park is popular for the legend of Tsavo “The Man-eaters of Tsavo”. The Yatta plateau, about 290Km long, one of the world’s longest lava flows is found in this park. The Lugards Falls on the Galana river which is a series of rapids is an ideal place to walk down to the river to view the rapids. Other attractions are the Mudanda rock, a long rock outcrop that is about 1.6Km long. You will arrive at your lodge/camp in time for lunch. Few hours at leisure before embarking for an afternoon game in the park which is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.

    Day 3: Tsavo East National Park - Tsavo West National Park(140kms - Approx 3hrs):

In the afternoon enjoy your first game drive in this reserve which is well known for spectacular scenery and wildlife not found in the south: Reticulated Giraffe, the rare Grevy's Zebra with its large furry ears, the gerenuk Antelope standing on its hind legs to feed and Somali Ostriches with their distinctive blue legs.     Day 3: Samburu National Reserve:

    Pre breakfast and afternoon game drives (or the choice of a full day game drive).You may see Elephants, Cheetah, Leopard, Eland, Oryx, Impala, Dikdik, Waterbuck and a variety of birds which are abundant with 365 species recorded, one for every day of the year. This lava plain includes a varied landscape of red dirt, thorn scrub, broken volcanic rock, dried riverbeds, steep hills and rocky outcroppings. Following the river's curves, a forest of Doum Palms, Acacia and tamarind is a magical contrast of cool green. Towards the southern; spins anticlockwise .Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge/camp .Lake Bogoria is a shallow soda lake with a beautiful scenery and home of lot of flamingos and hot springs.Meals and Overnight at Lodge/Camp.

    Day 7: Lake Bogoria - Lake Nakuru (200kms - Approx 2.5hrs):

    After breakfast,Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park whereby a spectacular view opens up with the land dropping dramatically from conifer forests to dry and dusty plains way below.     After breakfast ,Depart for Tsavo West National Park. Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher's Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler. You will have game drive en route arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a visit to Mzima Springs and Rhino Sanctuary. Meals and Overnight at Lodge/Camp.

    Day 14: Tsavo West National Park-Tsavo East National Park (385km - Approx 7hrs):

    Pre-Breakfast game drive before departing Tsavo West for Tsavo East . The park is popular for the legend of Tsavo: 'The Man-eaters of Tsavo'. The Yatta plateau, about 290Km long, one of the world's longest lava flows is found in this park. The Lugards Falls on the Galana river which is a series of rapids is an ideal place to walk down to the river to view the rapids. Other attractions are the Mudanda rock, a long rock outcrop that is about 1.6Km long. You will arrive at your lodge/camp in time for lunch. Few hours at leisure before embarking for an afternoon game in the park which is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust -red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species. Meals and Overnight at the Lodge/Camp

    Day 15: Departure/Tsavo East National Park - Nairobi:

    Enjoy breakfast before driving back to arrive in Nairobi at approximately 1700hrs .You will be dropped off at the designated place.
